  13. Hi, all:
  14. I have a big problem on running mf.  I just installed web-6.1,
  15. web2c-6.1, lib-6.9, xdvik-18f, dvips-5.58f on aix 3.2.5.
  16. Things are going fine for TeX and LaTeX.  But when I tried to
  17. produce pk files, things go wrong. I tried to make cmssbx10
  18. in 300dpi on cx mode, on mag=1.0 and 1.5 are fine.  But on mag=1.2
  19. it crashed.  here are error messages:

  34. Then, I tried to grab the new mf files from CTAN, still crashed.
  35. Recompile mf, same things.  Finally, I run the trip-trap test come
  36. with the package, and found following problems:

  38. ! METAFONT capacity exceeded, sorry 
  39. [main memory size=3001].

  42. If you really absolutely need more capacity,
  43. you can ask a wizard to enlarge me.

  53. Look like mf memory not enough.
